JagNation Stock Report: WR

The first week of Jaguars training camp is complete, and we at Jagnation have seen a lot of good things, and also some not so good things from the team. Highlighting the positives has been the play of Dennis Northcutt.

Reggie Williams - Stock is even
Reggie hasn't stood out much in camp thus far. He's made some nice catches, and had some drops. His fast start to the ‘06 season will secure him a roster spot.

Matt Jones - Stock is even
Jones doesn't look like a much better player than he was last season, as he still lacks many of the fundamentals that it takes to excel to the wide receiver position. That being said, Jones is still capable of making highlight film catches, and is a fantastic red zone target.

Dennis Northcutt - Stock is up
Northcutt has been what the Jaguars thought he would be thus far, a good slot receiver who can get open quickly. Northcutt has been a refreshing change in the Jaguars corps of big, slow-footed receivers.

Mike Walker - Stock is up
Walker has been the sensation of training camp. He has looked like the most talented receiver on the Jaguars, and there is certainly reason for optimism for Jaguars fans whenever he's on the field.

Ernest Wilford - Stock is down
Wilford has had a tough first week of camp, as he's consistently dropped passes. Wilford looked good in the scrimmage while catching everything thrown his way.

John Broussard - Stock is up
Broussard has looked fast in individual drills, and has caught nearly every pass thrown in his direction. Broussard has shown an ability to go over the middle as well.

Charles Sharon - Stock is even
Sharon hasn't stood out very much in camp so far. He's made a few highlight film catches, but suffered a concussion late in the week which kept him out of Friday night's scrimmage.

Jimmy Farris - Stock is up
Farris is making himself a very tough cut, as he's caught nearly everything, and runs solid routes. Farris is doing everything possible to earn a spot.

D'Juan Woods - Stock is even
Woods hasn't done enough to stand out in camp, and he needs to step up his game in preseason to make the Jaguars roster.

Roosevelt Kiser - Stock is even
Kiser is pretty much the same story as Woods, hasn't stood out in any way. Needs to do something special in preseason to earn a spot.
