JagNation Stock Report: Cornerbacks

The first week of Jaguars training camp is complete, and we at Jagnation have seen a lot of good things, and also some not so good things from the team. Here is how the cornerback stock has been rated.

Rashean Mathis - Stock is up
Rashean shows on a daily basis in camp that he's the best athlete on the team, and one of the best corners in the league.

Brian Williams - Stock is even
Williams has had a solid camp thus far, despite getting abused in one-on-one drills by rookie Mike Walker.

Dee Webb - Stock is even
Webb is fighting for a roster spot, and may find one based on his athleticism alone.

Terry Cousin - Stock is down
Cousin is not having his best camp, and he must play well in preseason with the younger, cheaper, and more athletic Webb and Starks looming.

Scott Starks - Stock is even
Starks is having a solid camp, despite having a hand injury.

Bruce Thornton - Stock is up
Expectations for Thornton are somewhat low, but he has exceeded those expectations.

Jamar Landrom - Stock is down
Landrom must make some plays in the preseason games, as he is currently buried on the depth chart.
