Indianapolis Colts (5-0) at Jacksonville Jaguars (4-1)
KICKOFF: Monday, 8:30 ET
TV: ESPN, Mike Tirico, Ron Jaworski, Tony Kornheiser, Michele Tafoya, Suzy Kolber
SERIES: 13th meeting. Colts leads series, 9-3. Indianapolis has a 7-3 lead in the series since both the Colts and Jaguars became AFC South rivals in 2002. The Colts have posted wins in four of the last six meetings. Jacksonville, however, handed Indianapolis a 44-17 shellacking last season at Alltel Stadium in what was probably the low point of the 2006 season for the Colts. Indianapolis has a 4-2 won-loss record at Jacksonville since 1995.
PREDICTION: Colts 21-16
KEYS TO THE GAME: With the Colts averaging 142.0 yards per game on the ground, QB Peyton Manning has enjoyed plenty of time to pick apart secondaries with defenses forced to respect the run. But nothing comes easy on the ground against the Jaguars, who have allowed a combined 71 rushing yards the past two games. Jacksonville must be able to contain RB Joseph Addai with the front seven so the safeties can focus on a receiving corps that should have all its weapons healthy coming off a bye week. ... The Jaguars aren't exciting, but they are efficient with QB David Garrard running the show and posting a 104.7 passer rating. The plan is straightforward -- control the game with RBs Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew. The Jaguars racked up 375 rushing yards in the last meeting, and they work off the ground game with play-action passes and moving the pocket for the mobile Garrard.
KEY INJURIES: Colts: WR Marvin Harrison (knee), LB Freddy Keiaho (concussion) and TE Ben Utecht (concussion) are being watched this week but are expected to play; S Bob Sanders (chest) hopes to return. Jaguars: DE Reggie Hayward (hamstring) will play; Scobee (quad) remains out.
FAST FACTS: Colts DE Dwight Freeney has 7.0 sacks in his past 21 games after starting his career with 51 in 63 games. ... Taylor needs 190 rushing yards to reach 10,000 for his career.
