1. New England Patriots- Put up 52 against a good Washington defense. (1)

2. Indianapolis Colts- Keep beating up everyone they play.(2)

3. Dallas Cowboys- Still the class of the NFC. (3)

4. Green Bay Packers- Favre is in a time capsule. (4)

5. New York Giants- Six wins in a row, Coughlin is underrated. (5)

6. Pittsburgh Steelers- Another blowout, business as usual. (6)

7. San Diego Chargers- Playing like the '06 Chargers. (7)

8. Detroit Lions- Can't argue with their record. (9)

9. Tennessee Titans- They win ugly, but they keep winning. (12)

10. Jacksonville Jaguars- One-dimensional offense without Garrard. (10)

11. Seattle Seahawks- Class of the NFC West, that makes them average. (15)

12. Kansas City Chiefs- Trying to hang on to first place. (13)

13. Washington Redskins- How bad are they? How great is New England? (8)

14. Philadelphia Eagles- Lots of flaws, but playing well. (22)

15. Carolina Panthers- Have a good shot to win the division despite playing poorly. (14)

16. New Orleans Saints- Seem to have put it together. (23)

17. Cleveland Browns- Over .500 through seven games, who would've thunk it? (20)

18. Buffalo Bills- Have won three of four and seem to have found a QB. (21)

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Probably not as bad as they played Sunday. (11)

20. Arizona Cardinals- Need to get healthy. (19)

21. Denver Broncos- Playing better, still could be in the hunt. (16)

22. Baltimore Ravens- Pretenders. (18)

23. Chicago Bears- Super Bowl hangover. (17)

24. Oakland Raiders- A quarterback away from being solid. (26)

25. Houston Texans- Seem to have lost their flare. (24)

26. Cincinnati Bengals- Probably a little better than their 2-5 record. (27)

27. Minnesota Vikings- Maybe Brooks Bollinger? (25)

28. Atlanta Falcons- Joey gets another chance. (29)

29. San Francisco 49ers- Not ready for primetime. (28)

30. N.Y. Jets- The future officially began in the second half last Sunday. (30)

31. Miami Dolphins- At least they came close to winning. (32)

32. St. Louis Rams- Perhaps the best 0-8 team ever. (31)
