Their leading receiver, Ernest Wilford, caught only 45 passes and he's expected to leave in free agency because they've made no attempt to re-sign him.
They don't have a go-to receiver although they have hopes that two receivers who didn't contribute much in their rookie seasons, Mike Walker and John Broussard, will make an impact.
Walker spent the season on injured reserve with a knee injury and Broussard caught two passes in the opener, including a 47-yarder, but caught only two the rest of the season while playing in eight games and wound up on injured reserve.
Then there is the question of what to do with Matt Jones, who's been a major disappointment since being drafted on the first round in 2005.
Coach Jack Del Rio, though, isn't too eager to discuss the wide receiving corps.
When he was asked about the receivers and their drops, he said, "The great thing is we were able to be sixth in the league in scoring and set a franchise record with the guys we have. We want to build on that."
He then talked about quarterback David Garrard, offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter and tight end Marcedes Lewis without really addressing the wide receivers.
