DT Grady Jackson (not tendered as UFA)- The signing of Jimmy Kennedy and the healthy return of Tony McDaniel likely marked the end of his Jaguars tenure for the 35-year old, who played well in spots for Jacksonville last year.
OT Stockar McDougle (not tendered as UFA)- Stockar McDougle was never much of a factor for the team, and they have more than adequate depth on their offensive line.
CB Chris Roberson (not tendered as RFA)- Chris Roberson was never a factor, and the Jaguars have plenty of young depth at corner.

DE Kenneth Pettway- The undersized 25-year old defensive end will have a difficult time finding a roster spot due to the drafting of both Derrick Harvey and Quentin Groves. Pettway will likely have to beat out Jeremy Mincey, James Wyche, and Brent Hawkins.
QB Todd Bouman: FA; terms unknown- Bouman was a member of the Jaguars for four weeks last season while starting quarterback David Garrard was injured. Bouman has looked good in OTA's and mini-camps, and he may be able to earn a roster spot if the team keeps three quarterbacks.
CB Drayton Florence: UFA Chargers; $36M/6 yrs, $12M SB- It appears as if Florence will be given the starting cornerback job opposite Rashean Mathis. Florence is a big play type of physical corner who takes chances.
DT Jimmy Kennedy: UFA Bears (Bears had individually negotiated right of first refusal and did not match); $655,000/1 yr, $50,000 SB.- Jimmy Kennedy will try to resurrect his career and compete for a backup job on the Jaguars defensive line.
QB Cleo Lemon: UFA Dolphins; $8.1M/3 yrs, $2.95M SB- Cleo Lemon was signed to be the Jaguars backup quarterback. Through OTA's and mini-camps, Lemon hasn't been impressive as he's trying to learn the Jaguars system.
WR Jerry Porter: UFA Raiders; $30M/6 yrs, $3M SB/$3.6M RB, $2M RB '09- Jerry Porter was the Jaguars biggest free agency signing of the year, and he was brought in to be their number one receiver and to help take the offense to greater heights.
S Pierson Prioleau: UFA Redskins; terms unknown- Pierson Prioleau is a veteran safety that was added for depth, as he's very familiar with new defensive coordinator Gregg Williams' system.
WR Troy Williamson (trade Vikings)- Williamson, like Jimmy Kennedy, is trying to resurrect his career in Jacksonville. Williamson offers great speed and route-running ability, but has had problems with his hands.
TE Richard Angulo: Potential UFA; terms unknown- Angulo will have a chance to compete for a roster spot in a wide open tight end competition behind Marcedes Lewis.
TE Greg Estandia; ERFA; terms unknown- Estandia made the opening day roster last season, and could be a contributor in the passing game, as he offers a 6'8" target.
S Jamaal Fudge; ERFA; terms unknown- Fudge is competing for a special teams/backup safety spot.
LB Tony Gilbert: Potential UFA; terms unknown- Gilbert will be competing for his special teams/backup MLB spot on the roster. This time he must compete with fifth-round pick, Thomas Williams.
DE Jeremy Mincey; ERFA; terms unknown- Mincey will have to beat out James Wyche, Brent Hawkins, and Kenny Pettway for a roster spot at defensive end.
RB Montell Owens: ERFA; terms unknown- Montell Owens is a special teams star, and could see a few carries at fullback.
OL Tutan Reyes: Potential UFA; terms unknown- Reyes is a solid veteran lineman who can add depth to an already very good unit.
S Gerald Sensabaugh: RFA; $1.47M/1 yr- Sensabaugh is a lock for a roster spot assuming he's healthy, and he could push for a starting job if Brian Williams move to strong safety doesn't work out.
T/G Maurice Williams: UFA; $16M/4 yrs, $4M guaranteed- Mo Williams filled in admirably for Chris Naeole a year ago after he lost his starting right tackle job to Tony Pashos. After Naeole was released, the Jaguars decided to give Williams a new deal to remain as a guard.
DE James Wyche: ERFA; terms unknown- James Wyche must beat out Jeremy Mincey, Brent Hawkins, and Kenny Pettway for a roster spot at defensive end.
CB Terry Cousin: UFA Browns; 2 yrs, terms unknown- Cousin served as nickelback for the Jaguars for the last two years, and was average at best.
CB Aaron Glenn: UFA Saints; terms unknown- Glenn was signed by the Jaguars prior to opening day a year ago, and only played in five games for the team.
QB Quinn Gray: UFA- Gray was the Jaguars backup a year ago and now finds himself out of work.
S Sammy Knight: UFA Giants; $5.15M/3 yrs, $1.25M SB- Sammy Knight was an emergency signing for the team last season, and filled in with a veteran presence although he had clearly lost a step or two.
DE Bobby McCray: UFA Saints; 5 yrs, terms unknown- McCray had his opportunity to put up big numbers in a contract year in 2007, but couldn't get any pressure on the quarterback with the Jaguars.
OG Chris Naeole (released/failed physical)- When Naeole blew out his quadriceps muscle after week eight, it marked the end of his career in Jacksonville.
DE Shantee Orr: UFA Browns; 1 yr, terms unknown- Orr was mostly a special teams contributor who didn't make much of an impact.
DT Marcus Stroud (traded Bills)- Stroud was a three-time Pro Bowler who saw his effectiveness nullified by numerous injuries. The Jaguars shipped him to Buffalo for third and fifth-round picks.
S Lamont Thompson (released)- Thompson played in just three games last season as a Jaguar.
RB LaBrandon Toefield: UFA Panthers; 1 yr, terms unknown- LaBrandon Toefield was the Jaguars third running back, and only played in 15 of the team's last 51 games.
WR Ernest Wilford: UFA Dolphins; $13M/4 yrs, $6M guaranteed- Ernest Wilford was a solid starting wide receiver for the Jaguars, but he no longer fit into the teams plans as he lacks the speed to be an explosive player.
