Pride of the Roar

The Jacksonville Jaguars have yet another individual to pride themselves on. It's not draft picks Derrick Harvey, or even Quentin Groves… this time it's ROAR Cheerleader, Laurie Conley.

Currently Miss River City USA 2009, Laurie Conley is a much-accomplished woman. At the young age of 24, Laurie serves as an active volunteer in the Jacksonville community and donates much of her time towards charity related efforts.

Laurie served as a special guest on the Jacksonville TV show Straight Talk 2008 with offensive tackle Tony Pashos and offensive tackle/guard Maurice Williams. Also joining her were players Paul Spicer, Joe Zelenka, and Kenny Pettway.

If that wasn't enough, Laurie formed her own after school program, "Girl Talk," a program that caters towards middle school girls and goal setting.

On July 11-12, 2008 Laurie will travel to South Florida to compete for the title of Miss Florida USA 2009. Miss Florida USA is the preliminaries for the Miss Florida pageant.

Laurie graduated from the University of North Florida in 2007 and is now an account executive. Laurie ultimate aspiration is to be a gym owner for a cheer and dance studio.

JagNation.com supports Laurie and her efforts to become the next Miss Florida 2009.
