New Faces, New Numbers (Updated)

Training camp begins this coming weekend, and thousands upon thousands of Jaguars fans will make the trek to the Jacksonville Municipal Stadium practice fields to get sunburn and take in the action. We at JagNation are going to better prepare you by listing the new players on the roster by number, and giving you a very brief analysis.

So you think you know your Jaguars? Real quick, who's donning the apparel of #99? No, not Stroud, try on the name Horrocks for size. How ‘bout #19? He may look like Ernest Wilford, but it's not. His name is Jeron and he's from Jacksonville. Pay attention because maybe one or more of these guys mentioned could be in the Jaguars ring of honor in 20 years. Well, maybe not, but you'll at least know who they are over the next few weeks.

#13- WR Ryan Hoag- Hoag is a free agent wide receiver who has been in a few camps around the league. For more on Hoag:

#72- OT Leander Jordan- Jordan was with the Jaguars in the 2002 and 2003 seasons, and has playe in Carolina and San Diego. For more on Jordan:

#70- DE Mkristo Bruce- Bruce was a free agent pickup who spent time on the Raiders practice squad a year ago. For more on Bruce:

#93 DE Quentin Groves- Groves was the Jaguars second-round pick from Auburn, and he is expected to make an impact in passing situations for the team as a rookie. For more on Groves:

#91 DE Derrick Harvey- Harvey was the Jaguars top pick from the University of Florida. Harvey was selected to be the answer to Jacksonville's pass rushing problems. For more on Harvey:

#70 DT Jimmy Kennedy- Kennedy is a former first-round pick that the team signed as a free agent to see if he can resurrect his career. For more on Kennedy:

#17 QB Cleo Lemon- Lemon was signed by the Jaguars with the idea of being David Garrard's backup. Lemon is an athletic quarterback who should be a career backup. For more on Lemon:

#61 OL Drew Miller- Miller is an undrafted rookie from the University of Florida. For more on Miller:

#58 LB Lamar Myles- Myles is an undrafted rookie from Louisville. For more on Myles:

#80 WR Jerry Porter- Porter was the Jaguars biggest offensive acquisition as he was signed to be the team's number one receiver. Fans won't see much of Porter in training camp, as he had hamstring surgery a few days ago. For more on Porter:

#20 S Pierson Prioleau- Prioleau was signed as a veteran safety for depth. Prioleau is familiar with new defensive coordinator Gregg Williams' system, as he's played for him in both Washington and Buffalo. For more on Prioleau:

#12 QB Paul Smith- Smith is an undrafted rookie from Tulsa. For more on Smith:

#34 RB Chauncey Washington- Washington was the Jaguars seventh-round pick from USC. Washington will likely earn a spot as the Jaguars third running back. For more on Washington:

#53 LB Thomas Williams- Williams was the Jaguars fifth-round pick from USC. Williams will have to earn a roster spot as a backup linebacker and on special teams. For more on Williams:
