NFL Power Rankings

It's the list that everyone loves to hate, our meaningless power rankings.

1. Dallas Cowboys- The ‘Boys were certainly the most impressive team on the opening weekend, as they made short work of a Browns team that many pick to win the AFC North. (1)

2. New York Giants- The G-Men weren't overly impressive against Washington, but the champs took care of business enough to move them up three spots in our rankings. (5)

3. Pittsburgh Steelers- There are some issues with the lines, but with Brady out they may have the best quarterback in the NFL. (8)

4. Green Bay Packers- Aaron Rodgers is handling the pressure with absolute perfection. (6)

5. New England Patriots- Time to panic. (2)

6. Philadelphia Eagles- Very impressive opening day performance. (10)

7. New Orleans Saints- Offense is great, defense is still a question mark. (13)

8. Carolina Panthers- Jake is back, the Panthers are back. (17)

9. Tennessee Titans- Imagine if they had a starting QB. (18)

10. Buffalo Bills- They can run the ball, they can stop the run, they can rush the passer. (16)

11. San Diego Chargers- Not the look of a Super Bowl contender. (7)

12. New York Jets- A showdown this week with a Brady-less New England team. (15)

13. Chicago Bears- Very inspired effort on Sunday against Indy. (28)

14. Indianapolis Colts- They were brutally bad on national TV. (3)

15. Denver Broncos- Cutler may have a breakout year. Eddie Royal looked fantastic. (22)

16. Jacksonville Jaguars- How will they handle missing 3/5 of their starting offensive line? (4)

17. Minnesota Vikings- Tavaris Jackson has some definite physical tools. They will be okay. (12)

18. Arizona Cardinals- Kurt Warner gives this team some much needed confidence. (20)

19. Seattle Seahawks- They always seem to play poorly when traveling three time zones. (9)

20. Atlanta Falcons- They won't play cupcakes like Detroit every week, but they will compete with anyone. (31)

21. Houston Texans- They may have started the season overrated. (11)

22. Cleveland Browns- No last place schedule this year. (14)

23. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- The Bucs just don't have enough offense to be a real contender. (19)

24. Miami Dolphins- There's a new attitude in Miami. (26)

25. Oakland Raiders- If Jamarcus Russell progresses, they could be solid.(21)

26. Baltimore Ravens- They're better than the Bengals. (27)

27. San Francisco 49ers- They'll be in the market for a QB next year. (29)

28. Washington Redskins- What a horrible game plan for the season opener. (23)

29. Kansas City Chiefs- They put up a good fight against New England. (32)

30. St. Louis Rams- Where did their offense go? (24)

31. Detroit Lions- Same old soft Lions. (25)

32. Cincinnati Bengals- There needs to be a housecleaning. (30)
