NFL Power Rankings

It's week 3 of the list that everyone loves to hate, our meaningless power rankings.

1. Dallas Cowboys- Won a great shootout against the Eagles. They still commit too many penalties. (1)

2. New York Giants-
Even though they're the Super Bowl champs, they seem to be flying under the radar. (2)

3. Pittsburgh Steelers-
The Steelers defense is playing fantastic, and they look like a team that's poised for their third consecutive division title. (3)

4. Green Bay Packers-
Not an overwhelming performance against a pretty bad Detroit team. (4)

5. New England Patriots-
I want to see Cassell against a playoff team. (5)

6. Philadelphia Eagles-
McNabb played very well in defeat. (6)

7. Carolina Panthers-
They are the Cardiac Cats. (8)

8. Denver Broncos- They sure can score, but they got away with one Sunday. (15)

9. Buffalo Bills- Very solid, fundamental football team. (10)

10. Tennessee Titans- Well coached, but I'm still not convinced they're a contender. (9)

11. Arizona Cardinals-
This could be the year they return to the playoffs. (18)

12. San Diego Chargers- Were ripped off, they'll bounce back. (11)

13. Chicago Bears- Still need a passing game. (13)

14. Indianapolis Colts- Manning looked like the Manning of old at the end of the Minnesota game, that's trouble for every other team. (14)

15. New Orleans Saints- They need to get into shootouts every week, that's not a formula for long-term success. (7)

16. New York Jets- If you can't beat the Pats without Brady, how are you going to say you're a real contender? (12)

17. Jacksonville Jaguars- Can't convert on third down, defense crumbles at the end of games. (16)

18. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- The Bucs beat up on a young quarterback. (23)

19. Minnesota Vikings- All they are is a quarterback away. (17)

20. Oakland Raiders-
The front office is a mess. The team isn't all that bad. (25)

21. Seattle Seahawks- A lot of injuries, why isn't the defense playing better? (19)

22. Atlanta Falcons-
It's a rebuilding year. (20)

23. Houston Texans- You can't lose if you don't play. (21)

24. Cleveland Browns- Don't believe the hype. (22)

25. San Francisco 49ers- They play well against Seattle. (27)

26. Baltimore Ravens- Undefeated! Not for long. (26)

27. Washington Redskins- The defense is bad, the offense is a little better. (28)

28. Miami Dolphins- I spoke too soon, they still have a ways to go. (24)

29. Kansas City Chiefs-
The best pro football team in Missouri. (29)

30. St. Louis Rams-
Pro football in Missouri is really bad. (30)

31. Detroit Lions- Losing is in their blood. (31)

32. Cincinnati Bengals-
A ridiculous mess. (32)
