Jags Receive Two Compensatory Picks

According to Scout.com NFL Expert Adam Caplan, the Jacksonville Jaguars will receive two compensatory selections in next month's NFL Draft. The Jaguars will receive the 41st and 44th overall picks in the seventh round (#250 and #253 overall).

The equation of compensatory picks takes into account net gains and losses during the previous year's free agency period. The Jaguars signed corner Drayton Florence, quarterback Cleo Lemon, and wide receiver Jerry Porter last season and Lemon is the only player currently on the team.

The Jaguars lost corners Terry Cousin (Cleveland) and Aaron Glenn (New Orleans), safety Sammy Knight (New York Giants), defensive end Bobby McCray (New Orleans), and wide receiver Ernest Wilford (Miami).
