Report Cards Are In for JagNation

JagNation.com gave you an exclusive draft cheat sheet about the Jaguars interest stemming from player interviews, private workouts, and visits to the facilities. Lets find out how we did...

We hit on the Jaguars first-round pick, offensive tackle Eugene Monroe, as JagNation talked to a very close source with the Jaguars who mentioned Monroe months ago. Although it didn't seem as if Big Eugene would fall to pick #8, he was there and the Jaguars snatched him up.

As for second-round pick Eben Britton, it didn't appear as if he was going to get out of the first round as the draft approached. Still, Jagnation was on him as we did a player profile http://jac.scout.com/2/857589.html, and reported team interest in him way back in October.

The Jaguars invited Terrance Knighton to the facilities a few weeks ago, and we were made aware. Admittedly, we didn't believe he would be selected in round three.

Derek Cox was probably the biggest surprise of the Jaguars draft, at least when you consider that the team gave up a second-round pick in 2010 to acquire him. Still, JagNation was where you heard his name first.

Mike Thomas in round four. JagNation was all over it from a visit in October- http://jac.scout.com/2/802889.html, to the Senior Bowl- http://jac.scout.com/2/831807.html, and even featured him in our Mock Draft- http://jac.scout.com/2/858947.html, and one more time in our final AFC South Mock Draft- http://jac.scout.com/2/859499.html

We first made everyone in Jaguarland aware of the hidden gem which is Jarett Dillard, as we noted the interest that the team showed in him at the Combine -http://jac.scout.com/2/841079.html. The Jaguars stayed close to him throughout, and we reported the interest again a month later- http://jac.scout.com/2/848482.html. Finally, we included him on our "draft cheat sheet" and even pegged him to the Jaguars in the AFC South Mock Draft.

Most people said ‘who?' when they heard Zach Miller's name (or at least they were confused due to the Oakland Raiders selecting him a few years back in round two). If you are a JagNation member, you weren't all that surprised when the Jags turned in Miller's name in the sixth round.

Many fans knew about Rashad Jennings, but were surprised when he fell to the seventh round. To be perfectly honest, we were as well. Still, JagNation first mentioned him way back in January.

Finally, Tiquan Underwood played in teammate Kenny Britt's shadow while at Rutgers, but JagNation knew all about him. We first noted the Jags interest back in November.

The Jaguars draft may be getting all sorts of different grades from NFL Experts, but JagNation once again comes through in the clutch as the undefeated, undisputed Jacksonville Jaguars content champion of the world.
