Jaguars Blotter

The Jaguars have made a special commitment to upgrade their image off the field by releasing a number of players (Khalif Barnes, Matt Jones, Reggie Williams, Gerald Sensabaugh) who have had run-ins with law enforcement officers in the past.

That may be one of the reasons why Jack Del Rio sent his team a special message at the conclusion of their first week of OTAs on the eve of Memorial Day weekend.

"I warned the guys this weekend around the league is a time historically, big Memorial Day weekend, it can be a time when individuals can find themselves doing the wrong thing. I gave our guys a nice reminder about doing the right thing for us, for this football team, for themselves individually, for our city. So we'll continue to drive those points home."

Del Rio's warning must have sunk in. No police reports involving Jaguars players were reported over the holiday weekend.
