On the Road Again

Since the college football season is upon us, it's time for the Jaguars scouts to hit the road again and find some undiscovered talent who could play a big role next season for the Jags. Find out where the scouts are headed in this exclusive JagNation feature.

JagNation has received confirmation that the Jaguars will be in attendance at this Saturday's Conference USA tilt between Tulsa and Tulane. Amongst the numerous prospects that the Jaguars scouts will be eyeing are running back Andre Anderson and wide receiver Jeremy Williams.

Anderson, a 6'0", 212 lb. senior from Stone Mountain, Georgia, led the Green Wave in rushing last season as he gained 864 yards on 174 attempts (5.0 ypc.). Anderson scored seven rushing touchdowns, and caught 25 passes out of the backfield for 202 yards and a touchdown.

Jeremy Williams is an intriguing prospect as he embodies the "new look" of the Jaguars receiving corps as he is 6'1", 205 lbs., with suddenness. Williams has caught 113 passes for 1,694 yards in his career, with 12 touchdowns. Williams figures to be the primary target this season for the Green Wave.

JagNation has also confirmed that Jaguars scouts will be at the Mississippi Valley State vs. Arkansas State game on Saturday evening. It's unclear at this time who will be the main prospects the Jags will be eyeing, but Mississippi Valley State is the alma mater of the greatest wide receiver in the history of the game, Jerry Rice.
