Jags Head to the Midwest

The Jacksonville Jaguars are looking far and wide for more college football talent in preparations for next year's draft. With the switch to the 3-4, the Jaguars need to rebuild with different kinds of defensive athletes. Find out where the scouts will be this weekend.

Scout.com NFL Expert Chris Steuber has confirmed that Jaguars scouts will be in attendance at Saturday's Arkansas St.-Iowa game.

Some of the prospects that the Jags will see clad in black and gold will be defensive end Adrian Clayborn, defensive tackle Christian Ballard (potential 3-4 defensive end), inside linebacker and leading tackler Pat Angerer, outside linebacker A.J. Edds, corner (possible NFL safety) Amari Spievey, and safety Tyler Sash, who already has four interceptions.

Offensively, the Jaguars should be impressed with tight end Tony Moeaki, who is tied for the team lead in receptions despite playing in just two games this season. Moeaki is 6'4", 250 lbs. and has soft hands.

The only real prospect for Arkansas State is defensive end Alex Carrington.
