Jaguars Potpourri

On Thursday, David Garrard eclipsed the 3,000 yards passing mark for the second time in his career, and he is only the second quarterback in franchise history to do so in back to back seasons.

For the fourth time this season, David Garrard threw multiple touchdown passes and now has thrown a touchdown pass in seven of his 14 games.

David Garrard has been sacked at least once in every game but one (@Houston, Week 2.) Rookie Mike Thomas caught his first NFL touchdown against the Colts. He also had two big kick returns and finished the game with two receptions for 20 yards and a touchdown on five targets.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have not scored a point in the fourth quarter in four straight games, they are 1-3 in that stretch.

Maurice Jones-Drew now holds the franchise record for most rushing touchdowns in a season with 15. Jones-Drew has scored at least 10 touchdowns in every season of his NFL career. Maurice Jones-Drew needs only 153 rushing yards to tie the mark for the second most rushing yards in a season by a Jaguar and only 326 yards to tie the mark for most rushing yards in a season.

Mike Sims-Walker now has 822 receiving yards on the season, the most by a Jaguar receiver since Jimmy Smith in 2004. He also has seven touchdowns on the season, only three touchdowns shy of tying the single season record held by Reggie Williams (10, 2007). Sims-Walker now has caught a touchdown in six games this year and the Jaguars are 4-2 when he catches a touchdown pass.
