San Diego Chargers former special teams stand out and wide receiver Kassim Osgood is headed to meet with the Jacksonville Jaguars today, which was confirmed by Kassim Osgood himself via his twitter page. Osgood has been a special teams ace with the Chargers for years, but has become increasingly frustrated with the teams' insistence that he is nothing more than a special teams player.
Osgood has made it known he would like to go to a team that is willing to give him a legit shot to play wide receiver. Jacksonville is a team with a potential hole at the number two receiver position, and the 6'5" 220 pound Osgood could potentially fill that role.
For his career, Osgood only has a total of 33 receptions for 647 yards playing on a team that's lacked real wide receivers outside of Vincent Jackson for quite a few seasons.
A receiver to Jacksonville?
