On Friday, the Jaguars signed ex-Patriot fullback Marc Edwards to a three-year contract worth approximately $1 million a year. Mack takes visits

Unrestricted free agent running back Stacey Mack visited Houston this week. He is expected to also visit Dallas and Oakland. The 6-foot-1 and 235 pound six-year pro out of Temple has indicated that he will not be back in Jacksonville because he's looking for a team where he can be the feature back. However, his agent has said that the door is still open with the Jags in the event Mack can't find a team where he'll be the number one back.

Talks are slow

As of late Friday evening, talks are still slow between free agent defensive end Chike Okeafor's agent and the Jaguar management. According to his agent, Andy Sims, talks will probably resume over the weekend. Sims is also talking with the 49er's and the Broncos.
