The Numbers: A Look At The Ravens

A look at the numbers that have made Baltimore one of the best teams in the NFL the past decade.

Monday night's opponents for the Jets have been the model of consistency in the NFL over the past 10 seasons and this year is shaping up to be no different for Baltimore. A look at the numbers that show just how good this Ravens team has been over the past few NFL seasons:

30 – The number that, since 2003, the Ravens defense has scored 30 touchdowns, tied for most in the league.

21 – The number of 100-yard rushers the Baltimore defense has allowed since 1999, tied for the NFL's best mark during that stretch.

20 – The number of wins Baltimore has had in September over the past decade. This is the fourth highest win total in the league. Their record during that time in the NFL's first month is 20-12.

10 – The number that represents the turnover differential the Ravens had last season, fourth best in the league.

9 – The number of shutouts the Ravens have posted since 2000, most in the NFL.

6 – The number of playoff appearances by Baltimore since 2000. They tied with Pittsburgh for the third highest number of playoff appearances by an AFC team over the past decade. Only Indianapolis and New England have more postseason bids.

5 – The number of Pro Bowlers the Ravens sent to Miami last year, tied for second highest in the AFC and third most in the NFL.
