Cornerback Darrelle Revis is out for this weekend's game, though he returned to the practice field and was on the exercise bike this morning. Revis did not stretch or participate in any drills with the team. After missing several snaps in the emphatic win over New England on Sunday, center Nick Mangold joined Revis on the bike but Ryan anticipates having his All-Pro center available. Mangold also rode the bike yesterday.
"I do expect him to play," Ryan said of Mangold.
In addition, Wayne Hunter was another player putting cleat to the pedal as he too rode the bike during practice. On Sunday, Hunter had a helmet ding him on the calf muscle on Sunday and his shin muscle has blow up. In the locker room, Hunter limped in, favoring his right leg which was a bright purple from the knee down.
"It's brutal looking," Ryan said. "I wouldn't say he'd play, based on how it looks, but I'm optimistic."
Ryan seems optimistic that Jason Taylor will return to Miami and play, following an elbow injury he suffered in the last game. Taylor did not participate in all the drills on Thursday.
"Jason Taylor was limited in practice today, but he looked good to me," Ryan said.
