Washington looks like a sinking ship, and Michael Vick looks like the big, monstrous tidal wave that is about to come crashing down to finish the ‘Skins off. Vick's officially a play in my book.
Mark Sanchez continues to improve, and so do his fantasy prospects. He isn't a definite play, but he isn't a liability anymore, either. Three touchdowns a game over the last two weeks? I'd put him in.
Michael Turner had 114 yards and a score against New Orleans, and San Francisco doesn't seem inspired—surprising with a coach like Mike Singletary.
LaDanian Tomlinson's numbers aren't out of this world, but he is averaging 5.6 yards per carry and is still a threat everytime he touches the ball. Against, Buffalo, he may very well break a few and put up a "vintage LT" type of day.
With what he's done lately, how can you not play Austin Collie? He and Peyton have some great chemistry, and a guy who was probably a late-round pick-up in most drafts is now a legit starter.
With the DWI incident behind him—sort of—Braylon Edwards can worry about football (not that it seemed to affect his game much last week). He has the potential to flourish against the 18th-ranked passing attack, in terms of yardage, in the league.
Best Bet & Best Jet
He leads the Jets in receiving. He's got speed, hands and the trust of his quarterback. Why not go with Dustin Keller?
They very well might prove me wrong, but I see a quasi-bounce-back week for the Giants. Still, the Bears are a good team that will threaten even with a good New York defensive showing. Robbie Gould is a potential double-digit guy this week.
Nick Folk has been pretty good, but he isn't a reliable play when the Jets are playing an elite defense. This week, though, they've got Buffalo, so play him if you've got him.
Pittsburgh is the league's top scoring defense and even with the talent the Ravens have at receiver, they should be your go-to "D."
The Jets should have a great outing against Buffalo, and there possibility of a returning Calvin Pace will only make the unit's fantasy potential greater. Tough it out one more week, owners, before we're all back on Revis Island.
