1: Folk Hero - The Jets trailed by two with two seconds left on the clock. All that was asked of Nick Folk was to out-clutch Adam Vinatieri, who had banged a 50-yarder not a full minute earlier. Folk calmly slammed a 32-yarder to send the Colts home and the Jets to Foxboro.
2: Ground & Pound Was Sound - The second half game plan was simplistic. Run right. Run left. Run up the middle. It was also effective. The Jets pounded the Colts defense for 169 yards. Most importantly, the rushing attack kept Peyton Manning on the sidelines.
3: Peyton's Mis-Place - Full marks to the defensive unit that only allowed three Vinatieri field goals and one Manning touchdown. The touchdown will provide Rex Ryan teaching materials. Manning and Pierre Garcon conspired to torch Antonio Cromartie for a 57-yard score.
4: The Dirt On Sanchez - Mark Sanchez may be severely injured. Or it may be not as bad as has been reported. No one knows because of the obfuscation emanating from Florham Park. What is known is that he will have to be better than he was Saturday night. Sanchez finished 18-for-31 for 189 yards and one interception. Can't beat the Pats with numbers like that.
