Ochocinco Wants To Keep Playing

Jerry Rice and Tim Brown may have company, because Chad Ochocinco wants to play till his 40. Both Brown and Rice played into their 40's something that's almost unheard of in this era of football.

Chad Ochocinco wants to play until he's 40, the Miami Dolphins wide receiver told the South Florida-Sun Sentinel.

"I'm going to play 'til I'm 40 years old, and this year I'm going to show the world I can," the 34-year-old Ochocinco told the paper. "There is physically nothing wrong with me. I want to race Clyde (Gates) right now. I've asked him."

Gates ran a 4.31 40-yard dash, which was the fastest among wide receivers in the 2011 NFL draft.

"I've still got it," Ochocinco said. "I'm a lot smarter and I'm still fast."

Ochocinco signed with the Dolphins last month, shortly after being released by the New England Patriots. The Miami native has made six Pro Bowls.
