Report Card: Jets at Seahawks

The grades are in from the Jets disappointing Week 10 to the Seahawks. Find out why Rex Ryan and company are failing the Green and White Report grade book.

As incompetent as Mark Sanchez has looked at times this season, he may have outdone himself with Sunday's clunker in Seattle. Not only did was he outmatched by a rookie quarterback, but he committed two costly turnovers that halted potential scoring drives and relinquished momentum in the Seahawks' favor.

Grade: F

Producing the only points of the day, Muhammad Wilkerson's fumble return for a touchdown marked the lone highlight from a brutal Week Ten loss to the Seahawks. New York's pass rush came alive, sacking Wilson four times with defensive tackle Mike Devito forcing two fumbles. The Jets came apart at the seams in the fourth quarter when they needed to make a stand and let the game get out of reach late.

Special Teams:

Mike Westhoff much in dismay as Jeremy Kerley muffed a punt for the second times in as many games. Seattle turned the mistake into six points and captured a lead they wouldn't relinquish. Normally a strong suit for Gang Green, its special teams unit has been a major issue the past few weeks.

Grade: D

Rex Ryan and company were successful at rattling at Wilson in the pocket, keeping him under fire for much of the contest. While the defense was stout for the majority of the game, a combination of shoddy play-calling and Sanchez's poor decision sent the Jets to their third straight loss.
