LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — A Nebraska assault trial for New England Patriots rookie Alfonzo Dennard (DEHN'-urd) has been scheduled for next month.
The trial has twice been delayed since April 21, when Dennard was
arrested outside a bar in Lincoln, where he played cornerback for
Dennard has pleaded not guilty to a felony charge of assaulting an
officer and to two related misdemeanors.
Online court records say Dennard's trial is scheduled to begin Feb. 11.
