What You Need To Know For Tonight

The Chicago Bears come into MetLife Stadium tonight to face off against the New York Jets at 8:20 PM. Two hours until game time here are the things you need to know.

Eric Decker who has not being practicing all week is a game-time decision. On the sideline Decker told Lisa Salters from ESPN that he “Feels good, and I’m up” and ready to go. It looks like Geno Smith will have his number one receiver along with the rest of his starting offense tonight.

Dee Milliner is out with that ankle and quad injury. Darin Walls and Antonio Allen will start at corner back for the Jets.

Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery will both be playing for the Bears tonight so look for Jay Cutler to try and exploit the Jets secondary.

The Jets are 3-5 when playing on Monday Night games under Head Coach Rex Ryan but are 2-1 at home in MetLife Stadium. The Jets are coming into week three with the highest rushing offense in the league at 179.0 YPG. Look for the Jets to run the ball early and often against the Bears who have one of the worst run defenses in the league.

Tonight is the 11th meeting between the Jets and Bears. In their most recent contest the Jets clinched a playoff spot despite losing to the Bears at Soldier Field back in 2010.
