Jets cut WR Saunders sign TJ Graham

The Jets cut fourth-round pick Jalen Saunders on Monday to make room to sign former Buffalo Bills receiver TJ Graham. In somewhat of surprise move the Jets cut Saunders another casualty of the John Idzik 2014 draft class.

Florham Park, NJ- The Jets have been getting a lack of production at the wide receiver position and have brought in a guy that could help. By signing Graham the Jets get a little deeper at the receiver position with bringing in a guy who is a veteran with some speed.

Graham played in all 16 games last season for the Bills and caught 23 balls for 361 yards and two touchdowns. Graham is going to start out on special teams for now and try to work his way onto the field as a receiver. With David Nelson going down with an ankle injury this could open the door for Graham, Walter Powell or Saalim Hakim.

One thing not to look over is the cutting of Saunders. That brings Idzik’s 12 man draft class down to only four players currently on the roster.
