Jets activate Barnes from PUP, release Bush

The Jets announced that they have activated linebacker Antwan Barnes from the physically unable to perform list (PUP). To make room for Barnes, the team released safety Josh Bush.

Barnes, was eligible to come off the PUP list this week and start practicing with the Jets. Before suffering a knee injury last year, Barnes played in five games registering two sacks.

Bush 2012 sixth-round draft pick only played in one game this year and registered one tackle. He has been recently battling a quadriceps injury.

Jets practice squad wide receiver Quincy Enunwa’s pending domestic violence case was dismissed today according to NJ.com.

Enunwa was originally arrested on August 31st and according to New York Daily News reporter Seth Walder, it is unlikely Enunwa will be subject to any league discipline.
