As the Jets continue to reshape their front office they have officially announced that they have hired Rex Hogan to be their new senior director of college scouting.

Hogan spent the past 12 years working with the Chicago Bears, as a college scout for the first nine years and a national scout for the past three. Before his time in the NFL Hogan worked in recruiting and operations for the University of Notre Dame from 1998-2003 and spent a year at the University of Utah working under Urban Meyer as the director of football operations.

Hogan will join Brian Heimerdinger, the new director of player personnel, in the Jets scouting department to work under new general manager, Mike Maccagnan, as Maccagnan continues to bring in his own scouting and personnel people.
