Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News is reporting that Langford is “scheduled to visit Jets later today and stay overnight (physical/meet with coaches, etc).”
Langford has already visited with the Detroit Lions and is also scheduled to meet with the New Orleans Saints after his meets with the Jets. According to Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com Langford wants to reclaim a starting job after losing his last year to rookie Aaron Donald. So, unless the Jets lose their minds and let Damon Harrison walk in free agency it would seem Langford would probably choose to sign somewhere else.
If Langford did sign with the Jets, and the Jets wisely kept Harrison, he would provide for excellent depth along the line and his signing would likely end any hope free agent Kenrick Ellis might have of returning to the Jets.
