Jets vs Falcons: Game Inactives

Who will, and who won't, play for the New York Jets and Atlanta Falcons?

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ: The New York Jets and Atlanta Falcons have announced the players that will not suit up for the two teams' matchup Friday night.

For the Jets, defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson (hamstring), quarterback Geno Smith (jaw), receiver Devin Smith (ribs), running back Stevan Ridley (knee, PUP), tight end Jace Amaro (shoulder), linebacker Erin Henderson (knee), cornerback Dee Milliner (wrist), receiver Chris Owusu (concussion), safety Calvin Pryor (personal), cornerback Curtis Brown (hamstring), offensive tackle James Brewer (back), defensive end Kevin Vickerson (knee) and defensive end Ronald Talley (hamstring) will not play.

Pryor, who missed this week of practice due to a death in his family, was an expected and excused scratch from the game. In his place, New York will start veteran Jaiquawn Jarrett. Rookie Leonard Williams will start in the place of Wilkerson, and Stephen Bowen in place of Talley. Ryan Fitzpatrick will get the start under center in place of Smith.

Offensive guard James Carpenter, who tweaked his ankle in practice on Wednesday, is active and expected to start.

The Falcons will be without cornerback Desmond Trufant, safety William Moore, running back Antone Smith, guard Peter Konz, receiver Roddy White and defensive tackle Ra'Shede Hageman.
