The New York Jets and New England Patriots have announced the players that will not dress for the two team's matchup this afternoon. Per NFL regulations, a team can only have 46 of its 53 players active on game day.
Having injured his right shin on Saturday, New York punter Ryan Quigley is not active. In his place, Steve Weatherford, who just signed with the Jets on Saturday, will get the start. Weatherford was cut by the New York Giants prior to the start of the season.
For the Patriots, running back Brandon Bolden, offensive tackle Marcus Cannon, defensive end Trey Flowers, linebacker Dont'a Hightower, linebacker Rufus Johnson, guard Josh Kline, running back Dion Lewis, receiver Keshawn Martin, lineman Shaq Mason, defensive end Jabaal Sheard and receiver Matthew Slater will not play.
