WATCH: Darrelle Revis talks Jets loss to Bills

Darrelle Revis talks after the Jets fall to the Buffalo Bills, 22-17.

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ- The Buffalo Bills needed a play. Looking at a 3rd-and-2 late in the fourth quarter and leading the Jets by five, Buffalo needed a first down. If the Bills converted, it would go an awful long way in icing the team's fifth victory of the season.

So, what was the team going to do?

Understandably, Buffalo could have run it. A pure handoff to LeSean McCoy, or a read-option with Tyrod Taylor, likely would have done the trick.

But instead, the Bills took to the air. As their best player went one-on-one with the Jets best player.

The result?

Sammy Watkins beat Darrelle Revis for a gain of four.

The first-down grab by Watkins continued a drive that all but iced the final minutes of Buffalo's 22-17 victory over the Jets.

After the game, Revis talked to the media about what the loss means for the Jets, how the team can bounce back and what exactly happened on that third-down conversion.
