Jets DB about to sign elsewhere?

A Jets veteran free agent defensive back is reportedly about to sign elsewhere.

Sources tell that the Texans are signing Jets four year veteran CB Antonio Allen.

Allen who was a 7th round draft pick for the Jets in 2012 missed all of last season with torn Achille's tendon and wasn't expected to play a significant role on the Jets defense this coming season.

The deal signed with Houston is reportedly for one year.

With the loss of Allen there are no longer any picks from the 2012 Jets on the roster. In retrospect, an incredibly bad draft with top two picks LB Quinton Coples and WR Stephen Hill ending up as first class busts. The only decent performer was third round pick LB Demario Davis who the Jets let go as a free agent this off-season.
