Jets DL Steve McLendon Contract Details

Here are the contract terms for newly signed DL Steve McLendon.

The Jets added more run-stopping beef on their defensive line on Wednesday when they signed former Steelers defensive lineman Steve McClendon. McClendon (6'3"-310 Lbs), a 30 year old seven year veteran, who spend all of his previous years with Pittsburgh will join fellow newly signed free agent Jarvis Jenkins in a rotation that will hopefully replace departed Damon Harrison.

According to sources, McLendon's deal is for 3 years at $10.5 MM with $4MM guaranteed.

McLendon is coming off a 3 year deal with the Steelers that paid him an average of $2.5MM per year.
