The preseason doesn't generate nearly as much excitement as the regular season, the only excitement it really generates is because it means actual football is right around the corner and it's for that reason, and that reason alone, that you should be mildly interested in the fact that the preseason schedule has been released.
No one actually cares what teams the Jets will play in the preseason but we're that much closer to the schedule being released for the actual season which means we're inching closer to having football back in our lives again.
The Jets will host the Jacksonville Jaguars for the first preseason game, travel to play Washington the week after that and of course, as always, they will end the preseason playing against the Giants in the third game and the Eagles in the final game. The Jets will be hosting the Giants this year, so it's the Giants turn to get three preseason games at MetLife Stadium this year, and will close the preseason with a trip to Philadelphia.
None of the Jets preseason games will be broadcast nationally and none of the official times have been set quite yet.
