FLORHAM PARK, NJ - The Jets added their second former Illinois State player to the roster in the past 2 days by signing offensive lineman Mike Liedtke.
The 6'3" 304 LB former 2015 undrafted free agent was a four year starter with the Illinois State Redbirds and spent time on the Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs practice squad last season.
The move was confirmed by his agent at Tessler Sports Management.
Liedtke is the second Redbird signed in as many days as the team yesterday signed former Raider and Illinois State DE Shelby Harris.
To make room for Liedtke the team released OL Luke Marquardt.
