Jets sign veteran WR-KR Kyle Williams, cut WR Bundrage

FLORHAM PARK, NJ - The Jets bolstered their kick return depth with the signing of veteran WR Kyle Williams

The Jets announced they have signed veteran WR Kyle Williams.

Williams,  (5’10”, 186 Lbs) has played six seasons in the NFL where he compiled 47 receptions for 574 yards along with four TD's. 

He was originally a sixth-round pick of the San Francisco 49ers in 2010 out of Arizona State. He also played for the Chiefs and Broncos where last year he missed the season with a torn Achille's tendon. 

Williams also is a kick returner where he averaged 24 yards on 28 kickoff returns. He also has averaged 8.1 yards on 21 career punt returns. Williams was signed after he tried out for the Jets during minicamp. 

To make room for Williams the Jets cut WR Quenton Bundrage, who was signed as an UDFA out of Iowa State this off -season.
