According to an interview USA Today Jets Reporter Connor Hughes had with Jets LB Coach Mark Collins during minicamp last week, 2nd year LB Deion Barnes has been the Jets most improved player.
"He knows how to rush the passer." Said Collins in the interview. "You have to have the ability to do it, but I think he understands angles, hand placement and finishing moves. He's got a good grasp of that as a young guy."

The 6'4"-255 Lb undrafted free agent out of Penn State has quietly emerged as a potential pass rushing force. Barnes attributes his improvement from former Jets OLB Calvin Pace and the tutelage of Collins.
Expect to see a lot of this man during the pre-season and possibly on gameday once the regular season starts.
