A former Jet thinks this safety is on the rise

FLORHAM PARK, NJ - A former Jet thinks Rontez Miles is on the rise.

That former Jets player is D'Brickashaw Ferguson who on SNY's Jets Nation recently mentioned Miles as someone under the radar who you should watch going into camp and the season.

The strong safety Miles, who was signed by the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of California (PA) College and after spending time on the team's practice squad he cracked the roster in 2014. Since then he has collected 24 tackles and an INT.

"Each year I've been on the team with him he's continued to grow and grow," said Ferguson. "Last year he had a pick against Eli Manning and changed the game for us, he's my guy."

You should definitely see more of Miles in the rotation of Jets safeties this season.
