Jets rival QB ends fighting his suspension

After a crushing appeal denial on Wednesday Brady finally waves the white flag.

After getting denied by the US Second Court of Appeals earlier this week, Patriots QB Tom Brady announced his decision to accept his punishment Friday morning on Facebook:

The end result is that Brady will now miss the first four game of the season (Arizona, Miami Houston and Buffalo).  The first game he would be eligible to play would be against Cleveland Browns on October 9.

The first matchup against the Jets is a home game on November 27.  Their second matchup of the season is on Christmas Eve in Foxboro.

Brady's only further appeal would have been with the US Supreme Court and based on earlier rulings, winning would be a long shot.
