Jets release WR

The Jets wide receiving corps got a little lighter today.

FLORHAM PARK, NJ - The Jets announced the release of WR Titus Davis today after he left camp and apparently retired. The former Central Michigan alum had spent a few stints on the Jets practice squad last season after singing as an undrafted free agent by the Chargers then getting released.

His roster spot will be taken by WR Chris King (6'-202 Lbs) who after graduating Dusquene was signed as undrafted free agent by the Cardinals. He was released yesterday and claimed by the Jets.
