It's been a rough start to the season for the Jets secondary and an especially rough start for future Hall-of-Famer, Darrelle Revis. Revis had to sit out last week's secondary torching against the Steelers with a hamstring injury but he has been a limited participant in practice the last few days and remains hopeful that he'll be able to play tomorrow night. Which would be a good thing because the Jets are going to need him.
Once again the Jets will face a team with a dangerous deep-passing attack in the Arizona Cardinals. Carson Palmer and his stockpile of weapons haven't been able to match last year's production but they have to be feeling confident that a matchup against the Jets secondary is exactly what they need to get back on track. With Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd, John Brown, Jaron Brown and David Johnson out of the backfield the Cardinals offense can beat defenses in an assortment of ways.
While Revis has struggled, so has the rest of the secondary and his return will be a boost to the secondary. Assuming they can communicate of course. In the above video Revis talks about his thoughts on his availability for this week.
