FLORHAM PARK, N.J. - The Jets continue to make roster moves, this time they've added linebacker Arthur Brown off waivers from the Jacksonville Jaguars. Brown is a four-year pro out of Kansas State. He was drafted in the second-round of the 2013 draft by the Baltimore Ravens, who waived him earlier this year. Brown hasn't started a game in his career, but has made an impact on special teams for the Jaguars this season appearing in all 12 games.
As a result of this acquisition, the Jets have chosen to waive linebacker Julian Stanford. Stanford suffered an ankle injury Monday night against the Indianapolis Colts. He was a practice player throughout training camp but made his way onto the active roster when the Jets needed depth at he linebacker spot. Stanford started in three games with the team and showed some upside playing alongside rookie Darron Lee.
