EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ - The Jets had a lot of injuries on their offensive line this season losing All-Pros such as C Nick Mangold and T Ryan Clady as the season wore on. A bright spot was 27 year old offensive lineman Ben Ijalala who ended up starting 13 games for the Jets at left tackle and was effective in the position.
Ijalana, who set to become a free agent should be a priority for the Jets to re-sign. He has versatility, being able to play both the right and left side, he's young and provides needed depth on a line that will likely get a full makeover this off-season.
Ijalana chatted with us after the Jets final game against the Bills and spoke about his season, his desire to come back to the Jets and what he plans to do this off-season.
