Jets could get a 4th round pick for Harrison loss to Giants

Compensatory picks will be awarded..

The NFL will be awarding compensatory picks soon for losses of key players due to free agency. Regarding the Jets, they had a big loss this past off-season when NT Damon "Snacks" Harrison left as a free agent to the Giants.

Based on the projections by the great salary cap site,  the Jets should be awarded an extra 4th round compensatory pick for the loss of Harrison. I'm sure in hindsight, after Snacks had an All-Pro season for the Giants, they would rather have him back but at least they will get something for the loss.

The 2017 NFL Draft will take place in Philadelphia and begin on April 27.
