WATCH - Lorenzo Mauldin: "Coaches Are Getting Trust In Me"

Can the 2nd year man go to the next level? He thinks so.

FLORHAM PARK, NJ - 2nd year LB/DE Lorenzo Mauldin is a work in progress. A big man with speed, he was drafted in 2015 out of Louisville in the 3rd round and the Jets hoped he could elevate their lackluster pass rush. He had a less than overwhelming rookie season and with some nagging injuries he did not break out in 2016.

He finished the year with 16 tackles, 2.5 sacks and an INT however the team still has faith he can get to the next level. Mauldin spoke to us before the team packed up for the year and spoke about his progress in 2016 and the road ahead.
