FLORHAM PARK, NJ - As the Jets begin another off-season rebuild they will look to their youngsters to move to the next level next season and become leaders. One of those players they are hoping will be one of these players is rookie OLB Jordan Jenkins.
Drafted in the 3rd round out of Georgia this spring, Jenkins is a work in progress. He had some flashes but also battled injuries and ended up with a respectable 41 tackles and 2.5 sacks. The Jets foresee him as a force on the outside that will elevate their pass rush. Jenkins plays opposite of Lorenzo Mauldin who is also looking to move to the next level.
Jordan spoke to us as the team was packing up for the off season and spoke about his rookie campaign the progress he made what he needs to work on and improve during this off-season.
