Tongue to start vs. Indianapolis

After being ruled out for the Jets preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts earlier in the week, it was announced on Friday that safety Reggie Tongue (calf) will start.<p>

In other injury news, two of the Jets top three wide receivers, Santana Moss and Wayne Chrebet will miss this game. Moss has a sore hamstring and Chrebet has a quad injury. Neither ailment is considered serious, and both players should be back for the team's third preseason game against the New York Giants.

With Moss and Chrebet out, expect wideouts Ken-Yon Rambo and Matt Dominguez to see a lot of action. They are likely battling for the last wide receiver spot.

Punter Toby Gowin will not punt against the Colts, but he will hold on field goals for placekicker Doug Brien. Brian Simnjanovski will handle the punting duties.

Quarterback Chad Pennington will start the game and play into the second quarter. Then with #2 quarterback Brooks Bollinger Brooks Bollinger (knee) out, former CFL star Ricky Ray will take over, and play two quarters. #4 quarterback Chris Finlen will likely get some action in the fourth quarter.
