Steelers very banged up

One factor that could help the Jets chances of leaving Pittsburgh with a victory this Sunday is the length of the Steelers injury report.<p>

The Steelers have 14 players listed.

They will definitely be without two defensive starters. Cornerback Chad Scott will miss the game with a knee injury, and middle linebacker Kendrell Bell won't suit-up due to a groin ailment.

Another notable player on the report is the Steelers starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. He is listed a probable, but didn't practice on Wednesday due to a quad injury. In the Steelers win over Jacksonville Sunday night, "Big Ben" was clearly hobbling around due to this injury.

Roethlisberger will likely play, but one of his favorite targets probably won't. Wide receiver Plaxico Burress is nursing a pulled hamstring, and could miss his third straight game. He didn't practice on Wednesday and is listed as questionable.

Another notable Steeler listed as questionable who might not play is defensive end Kim von Oelhoffen, who has a knee ailment.

The Steeler's third down back, Verron Haynes, will likely miss the game with a knee injury.

The only notable injury the Jets have is defensive end John Abraham who will miss the game with a knee injury.

The Jets are clearly the healthier team entering this important contest.
